Never put WEEE, batteries or light bulbs in any of your bins.

What does WEEE Stand for?

WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

What is WEEE?
Waste WEEE is anything powered by a battery or a plug. Over the last 10 years, the amount of WEEE in Europe has grown at a staggering pace with consumers using more and more electronics in their day-to-day lives. When not disposed of properly, WEEE can be very harmful to human health. Even items as small as batteries can be dangerous if not disposed of correctly. Some batteries contain potentially hazardous materials that could seriously damage both the environment and human health through leakage if not correctly disposed of.

What products fall under WEEE?
You can recycle all electrical goods from TV's, Kitchen Appliances, Computers, Monitors, Keyboards, Kettles, Batteries and Printers. We will accept and recycle anything with a plug or battery free of charge.

Make a Difference!

With more than half of all used batteries recycled last year in Ireland, let's continue to help our environment. Don't waste a day thinking about it.
When you recycle 'anything with a plug or a battery', you are helping to:
  • Reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
  • Save the planet by reducing the effects of the hazardous materials in WEEE.
  • Conserve natural resources as plastics, glass and metals are recovered for use again in the industry.
